Raw Rice : about 2tbspns
Toor Dhal: 1tbspn
Red Chillies - 2 nos(As per your taste)

Pavakkai Pitla is very tasty sambar, I never knew this pitla until my mother in law told and taught me when she was here. I will be posting the traditional one, but this one I have changed a bit. A yummy mouth watering Vengaya sambar(onion sambar) with vendakka poriyal or beans poriyal combination is very tasty.
